Aïcha has 17 years of experience in the financial sector, distinguished by her background at the Banco de Cabo Verde (Central Bank), where she worked in the Banking Supervision Department, creating a solid foundation before moving into commercial banking.

Since the establishment of iibCV in 2010, Aïcha has played an essential role in the evolution of the financial and markets department, which has become the bank’s main business focus. At iibCV, Aïcha is dedicated to developing relationships with financial institutions and institutional companies, promoting business development with these institutions. Additionally, she is specialized in structuring products and services for national and international financial markets. With a diversified and solid professional trajectory, Aïcha significantly contributes to iibCV’s business strategies. Her technical knowledge in banking supervision, experience in commercial banks, and robust academic background in Economics and Finance, along with her involvement since the bank’s foundation, demonstrate her commitment and deep understanding of iibCV’s environment and operations.

Aïcha holds a degree in Economics from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), an Executive-MBA in Business Management from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (UAL), and a Master’s degree in Finance from Lisbon School of Economics & Management (ISEG).
